Liverpool's Star Offers Apology to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has revealed that Mohamed Salah said sorry to the team in the wake of the controversy from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a European match after making accusations and stating his connection to the head coach had broken down.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has refused to disclose on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.
Moving Forward
Jones insisted that the team's response remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
Jones also implied that a player's desire to start is preferable. “I get that there are different methods you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
Positive Results
Liverpool's form have remained strong in the games following the situation. The player is convinced the forward's comments were not designed to destabilise the squad.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it’s always been from a good place,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, performing and securing victories.”
