The English defender has impress for Palace despite a summer transfer to Liverpool collapsing. As his contract set to run out in the summer, January is the London club's last opportunity to obtain a transfer fee for their skipper. Numerous top clubs, such as Manchester City and multiple European giants including Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, are believed to be interested. The Portuguese playmaker could be poised for a return to the Premier League following a period in Saudi Arabia. Still just 28, while his contract expiring in the summer of 2026, he is a potential opportunity. Teams such as Manchester United and Liverpool are linked with the player. Furthermore, there are suggestions from Spain that he would be prepared to accept a pay cut for a switch to Real Madrid.

Marc-André ter Stegen

This veteran German shot-stopper is now as the third option at Barça under the coach Flick. Having lost his place and had an operation, a January departure looks highly probable. Villa were initially linked as a possible destination, but that option now appears off. Instead, clubs from Saudi Arabia and Turkey are reportedly expressing curiosity in the keeper.

The much-admired Dutch teenage midfielder has earned comparisons to a Belgian superstar for his playing style. After impressing at the Under-19 European Championship, he has broken into the AZ side. This teenager is widely expected to make a big-money transfer in January. Newcastle United are believed to be frontrunners, but could face stiff rivalry from Real Madrid for a signing priced at around £22 million.
